Ms. Ables opened her practice in 2003 and has had great success representing clients in all phases of civil and criminal appeals. Her work in this area includes original proceedings, preparation of written briefs and presentation of oral argument. She has handled matters before many of the Arkansas appellate courts, the Arkansas Supreme Court, and the United States Supreme Court
A significant part of Ms. Ables' practice takes place at the trial-court level, where she serves as counsel of record in a variety of cases. When engaged in litigation, she pays special attention on preserving error and thus always positions cases for appellate review.
Protecting Your Rights in Pardon and Parole Hearings
We aggressively advocate on behalf of people seeking pardons or parole as well as individuals seeking the reinstatement of rights, such as gun rights, after release from prison. We have handled hundreds of parole hearings in Arkansas and will personally go to the prison and attend the parole hearing with you. Because of our experience, we have a good working relationship with the Arkansas Parole Board and a good success rate in parole and pardon proceedings.
